Godfrey At Large – The Three Of Us

Godfrey At Large from LA brings us his debut single ‘The Three Of Us’ from his upcoming album ‘Creatures Of Habit’.

This track is a progressive fusion of electronic and soulful sounds with influences from the likes of James Blake, Radiohead and Little Dragon.

We are very much looking forward to hearing more!

Nick Hakim – I Don’t Know

Nick Hakim is an incredible singer/songwriter from Brooklyn.

We use the word ‘Vibes’ a lot at Digital Picnic, but Nick Hakim takes the word to a whole new level!

Beautifully mellow, with soulful vocals and blues influenced guitars he creates a magically chilled atmosphere. Close your eyes and listen!

PICNIC SPECIAL: Speelburg – Aubrey

Noah Sacré aka Speelburg has come flying out the blocks with his debut single ‘Aubrey’.

Growing up in France and now living in Brighton, Speelburg has produced a Jazz infused Electronic track that showcases his warm and mystical vocal tone perfectly. His soulful stabs of melody appear improvised over a warming string part. Percussive syncopated beats introduce interesting rhythms, giving the track a head nodding brilliance!

Simple…but oh so effective! Big support here at Digital Picnic. Enjoy!

We would like to bring you our very first ‘Picnic Profile’. This is where we follow an artist on their every move and watch them grow.

So to kick us off we have the fantastic WØLFFE.

Wølffe, from Brixton, London is only 22 years old. She is the newest signing to ‘Rocket Music Management’ taking influence from the likes of Massive Attack, Lykkie Li and Hans Zimmer. Creating a R&B and Dream Pop style of music.

Wølffe has been extremely busy this summer, working with some of the musical minds behind Lana Del Rey and Hurts.

The first track we bring you is a cover of Drakes – Hold On, We’re Going Home. This is a regularly covered song but she take it to a completely different place, creating a fresh and interesting arrangement. Wølffe captures a chilled and dreamy vibe that is head noddingly brilliant.

Here at Digital Picnic we are extremely excited about what this girl has in the Pipeline, so keep your eyes pealed for future posts and join us on her journey.

The video is pretty snazzy too:
